Emergency car battery

Hello everyone! Did you know that when your car goes to sleep, there is one very important thing that stays awake? That is the car battery! The car battery powers several elements in your car including but not limited to the lights, radio and car air conditioning. The most common problems which your car battery will create are a dead battery. The above is particularly true if you are heading somewhere in a hurry, or in need of reaching your destination quickly. But don't worry! Here are a few tips then that will help you better understand and deal with your car battery. If your car’s engine doesn’t turn over when you turn your key, one of the primary issues could be the battery is dead. But there is a silver lining: you can make repairs! You can juiced your car off of another. The first requirement is that you need to find your some friend or a person near you who has a working car. Park that car next to yours, right up close, so that the jumper cables can reach both batteries easily.

The Importance of Having an Emergency Car Battery

Then you want to grab the jumper cables. Make sure you physically connect them right. Start by connecting one end of the first jumper cable to the positive (+) side of your non-working battery. Next, clamp the other end of that same wire to the positive (+) terminal of the good battery. You need to ensure that you properly connect both sides, as connecting wrongly can lead to issues. Next, grab the second jumper cable. Attach one end to the negative (-) terminal of the functioning best car battery. Then, the other side of this cable should be connected to something metal on the car's engine that has no paint on it (i. e. a bolt head). This offers a means for the circuit to be safely completed. Once everything is hooked up, start the working car, and let it run for a minute or two. Wait a few minutes, and attempt to start your car again. If it starts, that's great! But when you unplug the jumper cables, be sure to do so in reverse order from how you attached them.
