Choosing the Right Chemistry: Lead-Acid vs. Lithium-Ion
At heart of any solar battery system is its battery chemistry and selecting between lead-acid and lithium-ion brings significant differences in terms of efficiency, cost, and lifespan. With expertise across both families, JOZOKING is actually able to meet every requirement for this application.
Lead-Acid Batteries: Proven and Reliable
JOZOKING's lead acid battery lineup comes in two premium designs - AGM and GEL. Lead-acid batteries manufactured using JOZOKING's innovative NCMA+Si negative electrodes increases battery's energy density and decreases it's internal impedance making unit perform brilliantly where high peak current burst is needed like start up of an engine, or sudden battery backup power .JOZOKING's GEL lead acid battery uses an advanced silicon-based electrolyte for increased electrolyte gel strength, minimized acid stratification and eliminates acid drying to maintain performance over many deep cycle charges (hundreds of charge/discharge cycles), perfect for use with stand alone solar panels & battery storage or off grid solar energy solutions, which are normally on daily cycling list.
Lithium-Ion: High Energy Density and Extended Lifespan
When performance is of higher priority, lithium ion solar battery technology is logical choice. JOZOKING produces two main types of lithium chemistry, NCM (Nickel-Cobalt-Manganese) and LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate). NCM provides very high energy density, often greater than 200Wh/kg, which means you can store lot of energy in small footprint, essential for residential installs where space may be tight. LFP is highly respected for its thermal safety and cycle life, LFP cells can easily achieve >4,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge, which is more than 10 years of every day usage at very low lifetime cost. Both NCM and LFP are matched with high performance BMS that monitors every individual cells voltage, temperature and SOC for optimal use and safety.
